When Tech came out on their first drive, they immediately went up tempo to attempt to set the tone. Should we attempt up tempo more often?

Reed is way better when they run up tempo.

Yes but up tempo requires keeping the sam personnel package

I feel like HUNH has a place strategically.

When we'd do it under Spavital, it seemed to hurt our team because our defense would be right back on the field after like 90 seconds when we'd run 3 quick plays and then have to punt lol

Totally agree with the HUNH is a tool to an offense, it doesn't have to be your total offense. Depends on the opponent (whether you want to add possessions to the game or subtract) people don't give enough credit to the strategy that should be involved with making the decision to how fast you want to operate on offense.
What is their defense built for? (Sabans old defenses were notorious for being huge and not able to sustain conditioning the faster the offense went)
How efficient is your own defense? Have to play complimentary football
How explosive is the other teams offense? May want to limit their possessions by slowing the game down
How efficient is your own offense operating quickly?
This is a few

Which usually means he's thinking too much.

Tempo removes the ability to do that and generally reduces the QB to 1 or 2 reads, then run. Which is really where he is best.

I like the idea of coming out aggressive, I don't think it should be the entire offensive game plan.

Yes it has a place strategically.

Scar game when Reed was clearly a head case. Horn game coming out first drive in second half.

Knowing you have 4th and short and going for it doesn't give the defense time to sub their bigs, same as goal line.

Keeps the defense guessing as well.
