Are these games pre-designated to certain seeds or is all that part of the reveal with some consideration given to travel?

I'm guessing the latter because I haven't anything definitive.

B1G winner in the Rose Bowl, SEC winner in the Sugar Bowl. My guess is that they then put Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl too and ship the B1G loser to Orange Bowl.
