Yeah I think it's a toss up. On neutral field I don't think tech moves the ball v bama. Tech qb takes too long through his progression and isn't used to top defense

All I know is Bama would have beat BYU by 40 and there would be none of this talk that Tech is top 5 and Bama is 30.

Hard to say since Tech has played no good teams.

Tech looks really good on defense.

I think any team can beat another team on any given day. Should they? Not necessarily, but can they? Yes.

People forget Alabama almost lost to South Carolina, we almost lost to South Carolina, Georgia came very close to losing more than one game this year, Mississippi State until their fourth-quarter meltdown almost beat Texas. Kentucky took them to overtime as well.

This attitude of no this certain team could never beat that certain team is just dumb.

If you don't believe me, talk to Appalachian State.

Most of the almost lost to were within conference. The percentage chance of anyone other than Kentucky losing to Tulane is low.

Tech could probably beat any of the number 7-14 teams in any one game but Vandy would beat their asses and tech wouldn't have survived the season in the SEC, hell Bama almost didn't…I think they have 10 players out for this championship game.

Alabama has looked pretty meh since mid October when they trounced Tennessee. Struggled to beat South Carolina, Auburn, and LSU, and lost to Oklahoma by playing sloppy sloppy football. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see tech beat them if they play.

I feel l8ke tech is the better coached team but Bama has more talent and bigger players. Its hard to tell if the talent would completely overwhelm tech. Tech could ge5 some turnovers and level the playing field.

I think tech would look just as bad or worse against UGA.

Simpson and these WRs are a different level than what tech has and UGA is making them look like a HS team.

I have a feeling tech is going to look smaller and slower than they have all year in their next game.

Well the eye test is really all we can go off of as fans. When we are talking about which teams look like the best, I'd say Ohio state Indiana Georgia and Texas tech.

I just think most of tech's games are against teams that would be bottom 1/2 or bottom 1/3 of most of these B10 or SEC schedules.

That's like trying to predict an entire season by watching us pummel MSU every week.

I think I either miss worded my original comment or I'm just not getting my point out correctly. When I'm looking at teams and saying who is the best, those are the teams who have looked the best to me. Do I think tech is a top four team, no. Think they are top 10 though.

I was talking completely eye test. Eye test shouldn't mean everything. I think a&m is a top 20 eye test wise, but a better team than tech.

I agree, that's why I said they weren't the better team. They just look like a way better team then bama today
