I'm not sure about ND, Miami, and Bama. The only way Bama would be left out is if they got whipped in the CCG, and they did. It's hard to imagine them dropping two spots for losing the CCG, the committee has said, and they've demonstrated, that they don't punish teams for losing the CCG. But getting dominated is a different story.

If Miami and ND are ranked right next to each other, head to head has to win out and they flip flop. This will happen at 9/10 and 10/11.

For the top 4, I think OSU stays ahead of Georgia. Their only loss was a very close game to the #1 team, and that was a CCG.

In my mind, worst case scenario is for the Ags to play ND, best case is to play Bama. I don't see how we end up playing Miami, unless they keep Bama at 9, and Miami/ND flip flop 10/11.

BYU is out, they had an inflated ranking already and got utterly dominated. After scoring on their opening drive, they only crossed the 50 yard line one other time for the rest of the game, and only ran 4 plays before missing a FG. Good riddance to a mid major school playing an easy schedule.

If the committee is still going off their weird SoS calculations which is basically how many teams you beat with a winning record, there's a shot Tech might get the 3. It'll be dumb, but it might happen since they have more ranked wins.

2 and 3 are not on the same side of the bracket as 1, so they wouldn't meet to the final.

Miami and Texas would be favored by 3 TD over either.
Wouldn't surprise me if Committe dropped Bama and put Miami in since Bama got beat soundly.
And I do think they keep Georgia 3 if Bama is 10 to avoid possible Georgia / Bama matchup again if Bama were to win at Kyle. Don't think they will win but don't see Committe setting up Georgia to possibly play Bama in back to back games and 3rd Georgia / Bama game this year.
If Miami is in Georgia could go 2.
