At the beginning of the year:

Texas is preseason #1 and favored to win it all. Well they're NOT in the playoffs but Aggies and tech are!
LSU top ten preseason are NOT in the playoffs, but Tulane from New Orleans, LA is!
Univ. of Virginia could have been in the playoffs but lost ACC title game, but JMU from Harrisonburg VA is!
Notre Dame top ten preseason are NOT in the playoffs, but IU is the #1 seed from Bloomington Indiana.

I think someone not highly favored to win it all this year will probably win it. Maybe Texas A&M???

Think about how things might have turned out for us if the damn SEC would have left us as we were… playing LSU on Thanksgiving weekends instead of the sips. We would have had the sips early in the season and LSU late.
Me thinks we would be 12-0 now.
