We are the Rodney Dangerfield of college football. Analyticaly we are the best 11-1 team and yet the last in the CFP rankings. No explaination, nothing.

"No Respect" with next year's SEC schedule. 5 road games and 2 of those are repeat away games with LSU and Mizzou. While there were several teams with an away game repeat, the Ags are the only team with 2 away game repeats.

Finally we get the 11 AM time slot for our playoff game.

I thoroughly enjoyed beating lsu and mizzu on the road this past season, and look forward to beating them on the road again in 2026.

history hasn't been kind to first round bye teams.

I expect Tech, with a ConfUSA-esque resume, will experience the same.

I don't like byes. I had rather watch A&M play a game against a good team than watch a TV game show or something. I like watching the Aggies play good football teams and if it is at 11 o'clock I will either be at the game or watching it on TV. The more games the more fun it is. Byes are for sissies.

As for 5 road games, guess what, exactly half the SEC teams have been given the same biased schedule from the SEC because they are also unloved. Like others have said, how about stopping and enjoying life and how good we are doing this year rather than whining about something that isn't perfect.

Guess what, if we control our own destiny to be national champions. We don't have to play a road game and there if want to say we are the best team, we shouldn't be afraid to play any team in the country.

Honestly, I love it. All of this bulletin board material is just what we need for a playoff run. The fact that all the Esipn writers don't have us advancing past OSU and not even half of them have us beating Miami is absurd when we have been consistently better.

11am game on ABC or a 2:30/6:30 game on TNT going against the NFL, with one of those games being Green Bay at Chicago?

ESPN has the Friday night and Saturday 11 am timeslots. They farmed out the other two Saturday slots because they will be competing with NFL games. So, ESPN chose to have us, rather than relegating us to TNT.

Now, as to why they went with Bama and OU for Friday, maybe they felt that the 8/9 game would be the most competitive and generate the best numbers, or maybe they simply wanted to go as far south as possible for Gameday on a Saturday morning in December? Who knows.

College football fans lost when ABC/ESPN decided to make Alabama & OU the Friday night game, and not Miami & Texas A&M.

I'm sure like any other blue blood, a night game in Norman is a lot of fun, but it isn't Kyle Field.
