I honestly don't know how the networks pick the games for this round, but it appears to me as though ESPN picked us for Gameday and put us on their preferred day for the games they air, since TNT has the other Dec 20 games.

So you're saying that by hosting an 11am CFP game, Kyle Field will not be rocking? It sure sounds like you're whining about a lack of enthusiasm that 106,000 fans will be bringing to this 11am game.

As for the people watching it on TV, they will have absolutely ZERO impact on the game - none. So it really doesn't matter if they watch or not.

The game will decided in the stadium and on the field, not by the tv ratings.

Seems like the order was 8, 7, 6 and 5. The scrimmage in Oregon will be must see TV.

We got the prime slot for the Saturday games. It is on both ABC and ESPN, while the others will be on TNT/HBOmax, and overshadowed by the NFL games that day.

At least it's on Saturday.

There is a reason why we are playing Miami and we fell 4 spots because of a good loss to Texas and Miami moved up a few spots with 2 really bad loses

Look no further than ESPN losing a ton of money on the longhorn network due to us leaving the big12
And they will never forget how we screwed their entire plan
And it's wasn't just the Longhorn network…. Remember they had it all planned to save the west coast and the Pac12 and that all blew up and now had to pay even more to the SEC

It's a Playoff game. If they said it kicked off at 8:00a.m., you show up IN FORCE and you don't whine! I'm glad the team doesn't adopt the victim mentality like some in the weak fanbase do.

That has nothing to do with A&M playing at 11:00. The other 2 games will overlap with the NFL games.

That has everything to do why we are playing at 11. ESPN has the first selection of two games and sublets the other 2 to Turner. ESPN selected the 2 best games and put them at times not in conflict with the NFL. The ou-bama game is Friday night and we are on Saturday at 11. No conflicts with the NFL guarantees much higher ratings. The 2 Turner games will get swallowed up in the ratings by the NFL games.

ESPN got first pick of matchups (chose OU/Alabama and A&M/Miami)
TNT then gets the premier time slots on Saturday (afternoon and evening).

Its the agreement.
If we got the Saturday night game, we would be complaining that it was on TNT.....

We are in the playoffs and we are still complaining…
