York is a great kid and a real competitor. That said, he's no where near Dat Nguyen's level.
Nguyen started all 51 games of his career and holds Aggie records with 517 career tackles and 30 double-digit tackle games. He led the team in tackles for four consecutive seasons, a feat unmatched in Texas A&M history and earned the Southwest Conference Freshman of the Year award in 1995 after recording a single-season record 65 solo tackles.
Nguyen also was a unanimous First-Team All-American, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and winner of the Bednarik Award (College Defensive Player of the Year) and Lombardi Award (top college lineman or linebacker). He finished as runner-up for the Butkus Award by just one vote, the closest margin in its history.
Nguyen was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round (89th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft, where he played seven seasons as a middle linebacker from 1999 to 2005. He quickly became a tackling machine, leading the team in tackles three times (2001, 2003, and 2004) and amassing 516 career tackles, ranking 10th in Cowboys history as of 2010. He retired due to injuries.
