The way to early list of players to watch in 2026 for the Heisman are out. Top player none other than generational talent Arch Manning.
Others include Julian Sayin and Marcel Reed

Arch's odds probably depend heavily on where he transfers to.

Lord help us if it's LSU

I won't be shocked if Manning is a legitimate candidate before it's over. He made a lot of progress this year and he's going to have a lot of coaching in the offseason.

If you dont think Arch has gotten better as the year has progressed then you dont know the sport

There's no doubt he's improved. But that's just raising his floor. His ceiling is still a big ol question mark.

It would be great to have two Heisman leaders in College Station next November.

I think it's a bit less of where and more so who their QB coach is. Going to need an absolute guru to fix the mechanics behind that Uncle Rico throw of his

I thought early in the season that Arch might transfer but I don't see it happening anymore.

I would love to see this happen. It would decimate the LSU program if they couldnt win with Kiffin and Manning. They couldnt win with Kelly and Jayden Daniels.(Heisman trophy winner)....I would love to see them fail with Manning and Kiffin.

Sadly tu will likely get their OLine problem fixed and Arch will have very good numbers next year

Obviously he was not good enough at the Shoe or the Swamp or between the hedges but was 9-3 in his first year as a starter

Possible tu vs A&M is for a trip to Atlanta and a Heisman

He had his struggles at the beginning of the year, but he and his team managed to stomp all over A&M (again) at the end of the year. He looked a lot better than Reed did the last 5 games the season. Reed is certainly our best QB since Johnny, and I am really glad that he gives us a good chance to win every game. But let's face it, we would all be thrilled if Manning were wearing Maroon and White.

The honesty about Arch is so refreshing and unusual. What's happened to TexAgs?!

Who had Mendoza or Sayin on their list last year at this point. Pavia was trying to get more eligibility. Love was a clear candidate. Even at the start of the season, Mendoza or Sayin were not highly mentioned.

Sayin will win the Heisman next year if he beats Arch in Austin and runs their weak ass B1G schedule.

Sip could be much improved next season and still end up 9-3 because their schedule gets a lot harder. Remember, sip should've been 6-6 this year with two absolute choke jobs by UK and MSU and then the Ags coaches going into a coma in the second half.

All this crapping on Reed- buncha sips or kniw-nothings.

He absolutely did have tge stats and the plays to be in the Heisman race up until the last few weeks.

I'm no Reed apologist, but some of you...

Who's crapping on Reed? Yes, there are a bunch of homers here who refuse to give Arch his due, but another way to look at it is if Arch is the Heisman front runner, then so should Reed be given their near equal stats.

Reed made the plays to get us to 11-0 not always pretty
A few of those games were more competitive than we would have liked

Last year Reed got a win at the swamp
Winning at the Shoe is hard but as bad as Sayin was in that game Arch was worse

Both teams looked like garbage Reed would have definitely beaten either that QB that day

You may want to do a little research. Kellen Mond is our all-time total offense, passing yards, and passing touchdown leader.

This is supposed to be fun. If two of the leading Heisman candidates are Manning and Reed, that should make for a really fun season. I know most of you won't take the advice, but let yourself see this is a game that you have no control over, and just enjoy it!

Here's the thing I don't understand. This is his third year with Sark. He isn't some freshman, and I know he didn't have a lot of in-game reps, but he should've looked better than he did at the start of the year. Was he not coached up the last 2 years and this spring? People keep talking about him like he is a freshman.

Lmao. Arch is still bad. He was bad vs A&M too outside of some runs against our pedestrian defense. "Stomped on us".. Sips outgained us by 50 yards. Out-gaining us without our RB Moss isn't even boast-worthy.
