The prices for booze are insane. Can easily believe we spent the most since we have so many fans and drinks are expensive.

I am not surprised by this in the least. When I was at Aggieland in the late 80s, worked at the Kroger at Texas/Southwest Pkwy for a short time. Every employee had to take the TABC's alcohol course if you were working as a checker. One of the stats the regional manager threw out to intro the course (no online in those days) was that location sold more alcohol than all other Krogers in TX...combined. After 40+ years, it's practically a tradition.
