while A&M would be the champions either way if A&M got the easier bracket the hating media and sips everywhere would still say "easy bracket." It would not bother me or any Aggie but you know it would happen. But besides that as a competitor let's beat the best.

I don't think it's awful. What do you expect in a 12 team playoff with 10 teams that are capable of winning it all? We are a favorite in a home game against Miami. We then get to play in Dallas at a stadium and bowl game that we are used to. Not horrible.

pretty much everyone on texags was saying losing to texas doesnt matter, its not important, rivalries dont really exist anymore because of the playoff.

Cant have your cake and eat it too. Losing to texas was a terrible loss and now we have to pay for it. Losing late is bad enough, losing late in your marquee game that everyone watches is catastrophic.

"Best road team in the playoffs" = best team in the playoffs that is on the road?


Also - just saying - Ole Miss played a non-conference game against a playoff team and we did not…..

Next game would either be Georgia or ole Miss: tough either way

Finals would be Indiana, tech or Oregon

There is no easy path for us no matter what happens

Any rivals dissing it because of "easier path" are just going doing so out of pure hatred and jealousy

Any media dissing it would be doing it for the same reasons or more likely simply for clicks

Better then the current state. At this point, they need to drop the ranking system. Play more conference games, scrub the conference championships. Remove the cupcake games. NCAA is fkn braindead.

March Madness has it right, baseball/softball post season has it right. Football is a disaster.

The NCAA doesn't have anything to do with it. The CFP is completely independent.

Easier path up front would be great and all, but if we can actually beat the best along the way then you would take nothing back.

We basically have to win the natty 3-4 times to win the actual natty. Would be legendary stuff.

But I have to agree, I just want a natty regardless of how it comes.

The 1 seed side is way easier

Is going to come from the 2 seed side of the bracket

The meat grinder that is the SEC should make Miami and OSU pretty easy. Then Georgia, beatable. Then winner of OU/Bama will be coming out of the other side of the bracket.

Indiana has by far the easiest. Their win against OSU was massive for them.

Have to win 2 games against some combo of Bama/OU/Oregon/Tech to make the national championship. No game at this level is "easy" but they have got to love the draw they got compared to any other option.

Every playoff team is good. The team that wins it all will have 3 or 4 playoff wins. There's no ducking the toughest opponents if you make it all the way.
