So we have season tickets on former students side of the stadium (west side). I've noticed very few former students wave 12th man towels while the student side is a sea of towels waving. Any idea why west side doesn't wave many towels? Just curious.

Okay I am almost 67. I had a "Darryl Royal Crying Towel" back in the day. That was a start. (I still have that somewhere.Finding it is another matter.)

I've always wondered why anyone waves them. They don't make noise, doesn't distract the other team and if you're tall, all the short people whack you in the head with them. Spend most of the standing time ducking. But if you wanna wave them, wave them.

I've always wondered why that side of the stadium doesn't seem near as enthusiastic as the alumni sides of other notoriously loud stadiums like the swamp. Its like we're just leaving it to the students to do it.
