I'm really looking forward to when I watch the Aggies play tomorrow I won't have to learn about all the awful side effects of all the prescription drugs being advertised…what commercial are you most looking forward to not seeing on the ESPN 4k feed?

As long as you realize that you're watching an upscaled 1080p production. ESPN 4k is a sham.
I'll watch the regular feed just so I can see the Bark Boy commercial. Lol every time

My sling 4k channel is insanely better than the regular ESPN. Think we had this convo a couple weeks ago. And 100% love the no commercials

Is "4k" just the latest temporary tv fad? Kind of like 3D tvs a few years ago?
It is a 1080p upscale instead of 720p. Also mutes sound during commercials. But I'm not thinking our game will be broadcast in it…dabo man said:

On my tv (LG G3) it shows as being Dolby Vision though I'm not sure the meta data is correct. So a little dim. Through Spectrum app btw.
The 4K is worth it if you have the tv to support it. Sure it's not native but most people don't know the difference. Big difference between 4k and regular stream.
I just wish they played the crowd/stadium audio instead of a silent feed. Almost seems to be a buzzkill

There's been 4k TV for what seems like 20 years now. The content hasn't really caught up along the timeframe in terms of the broadcast side of things, but the streaming and physical media certainly has. Watching 4k vs 1080p on a large tv is night and day.

Do they still make non-4k tvs? Even the cheapest options have been 4k for many years now. The stream/signal is what is the limiting factor, not the tv.

No 4k is absolutely the new standard, even if some broadcasts are still moving over. All movies and many TV shows are offered in 4k.inconvenient truth said:

The radio broadcast with the SkyCam will be available on SEC Network. No extra subscription required if you already get it through your TV provider.
Commercials are just background noise. I rarely know what they're selling, marketing, or who / what is involved.

Greased Lightnin' truly almost made me quit watching football this season after I saw it twice and knew more (much more) repetitions were coming. Instead I just pause it and wait a minute to FF through it. Just brutal.

Upscaled 1080p looks better than 1080p. Who cares what it's called, nerd.
Upscaled anything cannot look better than the source. The best you can do is have an algorithm guess at what the extra pixels should look like.
Now, as someone mentioned earlier, the channel ESPN is produced at 720p (as is ABC). 1080p is an improvement over 720p. But to call your service ESPN 4k and not produce the content at that resolution is complete bullsh**. Shouldn't be legal.

Halftime was awesome!
Much better steam quality than regular ESPN and no buffering or lag. Regular ESPN always sucks.
The 4k broadcast on Fubo is great. No commercials. Got to see the bands. Don't have to listen to the halftime talking heads. Wish every game was like this.
