It was a fumble but if refs blew whistle and killed the play, which they seem to only do when it hurts us, then tough titty, play is over no Miami recovery.

My only issue was the punt return by conception. He was nailed right as he caught it. That is a personal foul. Punt returner needs 3 yard zone to catch ball

No it wasn't. His arm was moving forward with control of the ball. The hit didn't cause the ball to go 5 yards forward.

Should have been reviewed and any whistle, IF blown, would have been irrelevant.

There's no "Halo" but he must be giving a 1-yard unimpeded opportunity to catch it. Further, when in question, it IS a foul. This is Kick Catch Interference, and not a Personal Foul.

Outside of maybe catch kick interference we have not noticed refs. That is fantastic.

Good luck finding that in the rule book. He had an unimpressed chance to catch it and didn't call for a fair catch. He was a defenseless player so you could have targeting but there was no contact that was close to that.

What they did to Moss was dirty. Followed by the slam out of bounds next play. Time for A&M to man up if the refs gonna let this stuff go.
