I don't know why decision maker feels Klein is a head coach material.

I keep bring our previous play caller Jake Spavital. Spavital was despised here during his time as well... but
Spavital may look like CFP bound coach with our current talent. It's mostly knowing how to roll with your talent and being dynamic....riding with what works that day.

I remember Miami got near/in the redzone early in the 3rd and the coach burned a timeout to slow them down.

I instantly thought how BRUTAL that could be in a low-scoring game that may come down to the wire. Sure enough, it was.

Dont burn Timeouts early

It almost looked like the first down play was an option for QB draw but the rush didn't open up the middle so he threw it.

So you're just ignoring the full 58 minutes of game time before that? Their D line was absolutely mauling our O line all day.

Would have rolled him out everytime and given option to run or throw. He is better that way than in pocket anyway

With 30 seconds left and 3rd and goal you could have run it and then quickly lined up for a 4th down play if you didn't get the TD

His red zone play calling has always been too cute for my taste

Calling a reverse throw back to Marcel when a simple run or two would get the job done

I'm thinking that if we couldn't trust our OL to keep the Miami DL off Reed, we couldn't trust them to make one crack on three tries for a score.

I don't have a problem with 3 passes, two were almost touchdowns. The third, Reed should have thrown away and lived to play on 4th down.
