Pathetic reffing at the end with the non-targeting on pass to Owens. So pathetic that it pushes common sense to believe it was just a missed call. We didn't play our best this game, but we 100% should have won this game if the game was called without a fix in.
Seemed like the crowd wasn't giving their 12th Man all either. We fought hard all season for a first round home game for the entire country to see Kyle Field on the biggest stage only to look like a crowd interested in going to happy hour. Fighting Aggie spirit needs a reawakening.
The "ohhh...we're too fortunate to have Elko for 5 more years" and "Get the hellaoutta here Klein" snipes don't help either. They delivered one of the greatest Texas A&M Football seasons since RC. I didn't realize fickleness and entitlement were now core values taught at Fish Camp. Winning starts with culture, and if being whiny weak spoiled p!#$$s is the culture at Aggieland, then we will reap what we sow.
The reality is Elko got us into the playoffs and being a CFP team builds the program and recruiting momentum. Reed deservedly was in the Heisman race and at an expected progression should be a favorite to be in New York next year.
And tu proved to be the same overrated overhyped confused weaklings we all know they are. 2025 was the beginning of a great future for the program. Every champion goes through a "Hero's Journey" where you lose to a rival or get embarrassed in front of everyone at home. No program enters the CFP fully born. The struggle will make the Championship that much more special.
Just don't let the refs steal it from us.
