I thought Elko had finally figured out the me tal toughness a drive problems that plagued us for decades. But the past 2 games have shown me that we have a long way to go yet.

Why not? Reed has sucked down the stretch. He is too inaccurate and you aren't going to win anything with him. I would question any coach that didn't at least try to get a better QB.

Trust me I'm not your opposition on this matter. After listening to Elko speak at the press conference, and knowing how Aggie football rolls, there's just not a world he isn't. Would love to be surprised though.

I disagree. Kleins playcalling was very suspect down the stretch. The offense was very aggressive for most of the season and then went completely conservative the last 2 games. That's on Klein. The 1 deep pass against Texas, we drew a PI. The one deep pass against Miami, we got a big gain. Those were the only 2 deep balls we threw the last 2 games. That's on Klein. I do agree that Reed had a lot to do with the ineptitude, but Klein was just as terrible.

You really think Klein's playcalling was the big issue today? Or you think suddenly having a new coach call the plays last minute would be any better than letting Klein finish the season? Genuinely curious

Regardless of Klein leaving for KSU, he should not have coached this game after the Texas game.

NEVER keep a coach after he has accepted another assignment. Thank him and send him along. Didn't we learn a lesson from the DL coach who took the job at Syracuse, stuck around to poach a bunch of recruits, then took them with him? Klein may have called plays, but he didn't have a plan at all. Anyone can call plays, it takes someone who is focused to create a plan.

We absolutely must have a better RB. Moss is fine but always hurt. Can't trust him. Owens is terrible, he may be fast but he has zero acceleration or ability to make someone miss. Just so bad.

We will have to replace KC and hopefully that freshman WR who got hurt in preseason is it. He was tearing it up. Craver is meh.

Cement shoes York has just got to go. Not even going into his lack of size, he is just too slow and (at least to my eyes) he is constantly in the wrong gap.

Don't switch kickers in game 11.

Last - never pay a guy until he has actually finished the job. Elko got to 10-0 as a result of a terrible schedule, now we have 50million to pay him
