Sucks man, freaking sucks. You would have told me we hold Miami to 10 points, I think we put up 24. That's football man. Run game wasn't working besides a couple of bursts through Ruben. Moss needed another game to get into feel.
Miami took advantage, although very shallow on offense, they found the runs when they needed especially the dagger in the fourth quarter which locked up the game.
What I saw is that I thought the defense played out of their mind minus the couple runs that broke us, but defense seemed to show up when needed which was a concern.
Offense man where do I start. We drive to the 50 yard line and can't convert, we throw a 50 yard bomb to the 15 and can't score, we seemed to love the ball but Miami did their part to shut down the run on second down to force a third and long. That's football. Watching it sucks, especially with the amount of times to take the lead. Game was in our hand and we couldn't convert. With two years of Elko, I have no doubt that the guy is doing everything in his power, but it could come down to coordinators. Bateman I've never trusted and Klien I had a little but it seemed like the big games we couldn't cross the line. Culture being somewhat inside the program and getting intel, it's totally different and I give Elko total credit. These kids are going to put 110 percent out to win, something we didn't see under jimbo.
The program success really depends on Wiggins and our new dc( can't remember his name). Also a lot of smoke with getting Erob back. Year two we made the playoffs, but with a weak schedule how much did it mean. What a season, total highs, and some low, but damn proud to be an Aggie and wouldn't want it any other way.
