What went well winning on the road at ND helped boost on our confidence and set us up for a great run.
Things that we did bad all year that were covered up by winning.
1. Allowing runs over 30 yds time and time again starting with the UTSA game we allowed runs over 30,40,50 yards.
2. Special teams kicking woes this is the worst punter and field goal kicking I've ever seen for A&M. Zirkel should've never been on the field.
3. Reed has made the same mistakes over and over. Texas just watched enough tape that Reed makes most of his mistake ints when in the red zone as teams tend to play zone because of the shortened field. Texas realized let's do it all the time because he is woefully inaccurate. Over half of his interceptions are in the red zone and end zone because of his accuracy issues.
4. Running backs when Moss is hurt we are left with a bunch of them but Ruben Owens isn't our second best back. He's so overrated and overpaid where was Mortow then only speed back we have.
5. Klein will not be missed with his stupid play calling that almost cost us the SC game. The WR screen wasn't working ever.
6. Overall defense played well but where was Howell yesterday and the Texas game he was neutralized.
7. York is the most overrated player he is continually out of position on big plays and they run through his gaps.
8. Good season but not great.
9. We have a lot to work on as our Oline is gone and we need a ton of help there, need a qb, rb, lb, te,
We'll see next year will be tougher as lsu will be better and so will Texas.
