Yep this year and last year were our best 2 year window for a long long time.
No GA, Ole Miss, Bama, OU, Tennessee, etc. This year we didn't even face a single playoff team until Saturday.

one thing i know is what the schedule looks like on. paper is not how it always works out.

our schedule this year was not viewed as easy pre season. i do thibk elko has made our program better so i am signing up for another season of watching the ags from my couch and going to one game a season.

I really don't see a playoff season next year. We're looking at four probable regular season losses. But the portal exists so maybe Elko surprises us. He did a great job last year.

I'm buying that we CAN make the CFP, not buying that we WILL. We were an excellent team who played great against a medium difficulty schedule, by SEC standards. If we had lost 2 games, we'd have been out of the CFP. How frequently can we win 11 games or win 10 and it be like 2024 where the 10 win SEC teams are in?

I'm just hoping for 2 CFP appearances per decade, and I think that's optimistic but realistic.

Wait until he gets the horses we need. What exactly is he building? I've acknowledged that he did a fantastic job with the portal this year. But can he do it again? Can he rent another squad of impact players for next year? Because it seems like we have even more holes to fill for 2026.

QB1 is still top half of SEC and top quarter of NCAA. Let's not act like he's not. He did a lot this season he can be proud of and he's a class act. Odd so many are ready to dump him.

What we need is an O-line that doesn't shoot itself in the foot over and over. And linebackers that know how to defend a basic run off tackle. That's half our battle.

Nothing a few million NIL $ from BMAs can't fix. Agents are standing by……..

9-3 gets you a playoff appearance in 2026 and A&M has 4 very likely victories aleady from Missouri State, Kentucky, Arkansas, and The Citadel.

The rest of the games are pick'ems. Going 5-3 against a slate of AZ State, LSU, Missouri, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas would be excellent indeed.

He did a lot. But was way too inconsistent to win big. We need a good running game. Reed is not good enough to solely rely on like we had to do a lot this year. Sometimes he came through but it's a 50/50. Miami don't have to rely solely on Beck. They had enough of a running game.

At least we didn't rush into a premature extension of our Head Coach. Oh wait…
