How did these guys win the Joe Moore award? Giving up sacks and TFLs to a Vandy Dline that got mugged by an average tu line.

Bowl performances aren't always an accurate indicator of a team. Unless their playing for a national championship or in the playoffs, some teams play uninspired.

Expand the playoffs and you'll see more fight

Yeah, those Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, etc OL are always so overrated. You should let the NFL know to stop drafting them.

I'm originally from Iowa and have watched the Hawkeyes my entire life. Their OL/DL has more grit and fight than I've ever seen from the Ags. Ferentz takes 2 and 3 star guys and every year turns them into NFL draft picks. He was an O-Line guy under Belichick. We probably have more talent at A&M but there is more toughness and grit in the way Iowa plays.

A lot of those guys are only 2-3 stars because of where they are from. Most of them grew up wrestling which helps with being tougher than other areas of the country. Again, it is why they litter NFL rosters.

The Midwest seems to have some nice TE talent too. Boerkircher was a great find out of the portal for us. We should keep going that route

Iowa didn't have a lot of opt outs this year for the bowl game because the guys they recruited and developed actually like playing football together and want one more chance to play as a team.

Imagine that.

I watched this game specifically to see how good Iowa's offensive line was and they were every bit as good as advertised. Vandy was stacking 8-9 in the box at times and they were still getting a surge. Vandy got through a few times, but to be expected when you have 5 blocking 7.
