We will be trading TEs ....ours for others "seconds".
Don't see us being the attraction for any real number one TE in the portal.

I won't say it but I'll definitely blue star those who do

Because apparently we don't understand their usefullness.

TE play and defenses win championships.

Unless I was watching another team named A&M we used the TEs a bunch this season and in some fairly creative ways. The last two ballgames not withstanding. By the way which TEs are leaving outside of Thor? Is this a drive by post without any info to troll?

Keep up better....Niblack has declared for the NFL draft.....

Doesn't sound very portal like to me. Going to the NFL is not the same. Anyone else hitting the portal among the TEs?

Interesting

That does not match the comment you replied to or the title of this thread.

Maybe it's you that needs to keep up.

Thor is transferring and Niblack is out of eligibility. It's not doom and gloom like having all your top running backs all transferring.

Thor may be a genetic freak but he hasn't done much on the football field so it isn't a big loss. Boerkicker looked better than him in the games.

Kiotti Armstrong has the talent to be a top right end. Hopefully Wiggins will feed the rock to our playmakers more and play call to our player's strengths so as to not try to make them something they are not.

We have exactly ONE TE going to the portal, and we do this thing called recruiting to have other players take the field.

Regardless, portal players are not "seconds". The best TE we have had in the last 20 years was a portal player from a tiny directional OK school you've never heard of. The seconds TE that caught the pass to beat ND was a transfer portal player. Our best player on D who is a concensus All American was a portal transfer from Bowling Green.

Be less dramatic.

Surely it has nothing to do with the development of Kioti Armstrong.

The actual facts disagree with your troll attempt.

From Sports Illustrated:

"The tight ends room was not targeted much all season as three players combined for 43 receptions on the 2025 season."

"Actual facts" hahahaha Another mouth breathing, window licker posting trash.

Just a quick search shows Boerkircher ranked 18th in Rec. yards and Theo ranked 22nd in Rec. Yards. Those are the facts. Without wasting any more research time shutting your agenda down, that would "probably" put the Aggie TE unit in Top 10 in Rec Yds and Top 20 in Receptions.

Thor is in search of possibly a lesser team where he would be the dominant TE and possibly resulting in more pay.

It is all about ….show me the money.

Thor can't get money as an international student as part of his visa. Sounds like you're really on top of it…

Ever think sometimes the coaching staff tells some players they would do well in the portal to get more playing time or try on another program?

Sometimes things just don't vibe or pan out like once thought.

I am sad to see the Swede go and wish him the best.

I know of one in the portal, two are out of eligibility. We have one left and at least one highly touted incoming freshman.
Based on your question, sounds like you know of more, who are they.

Probably. He also saw more snaps than any TE on the roster though. He was the most well rounded TE on the roster

That information was probably relayed to him once he made it back to the sideline after he drew the holding penalty on Bussey's kick return at ND.

Did some of yall even watch Aggie football? We used our TEs all season. As a matter of fact Reed tried forcing the ball to Thor on the last offensive play of the season

That ball was so far away from Thor not even Thor could know for sure it was intended for him…..

I know that is who the announcers attributed it to during the game but when I went back and looked at it, the phantom hold could have only been #87 not #17.

They are 18th and 22nd and 38th if you include Niblack in a list of TE's in the SEC with 435 total yards. There are five TE's in the SEC who had more yards than the three Aggie TE's combined. Our best TE is the 640th ranked receiver in the country.

So your narrative that we are using our TE's is not true.

The bozo brothers need to take off the maroon blinders!

The tight end room = The Aggie tight end room finished in the Top 10 as a Unit in Receptions. Individual TE stats does not matter in your pathetic and lazy agenda.

Your Sports Illustrated source does not mention the stat total of "Targeted" only Receptions. It's a flawed and bias premise.

This is the problem with A&M football. Criticism of obvious problems is attacked or ignored.

The TE's had 43 receptions out of 906 total offensive plays. I know they were targeted more than that. But early in the season they made clutch plays, even a game winner in the best win of the year. So I would not expect their receptions would account for less than five percent of the offensive plays. Those numbers point to a problem with the offense and probably explain why a TE is hitting the portal.
