Remember, the Aggies played Miami earlier this season-and they were right there at the end, throwing into the end zone with a chance to tie or win. A slightly better-timed pass to Rueben Owens or Theo Ohrstrom, and it's not hard to imagine Texas A&M being the team on the field in Dallas last night. That's how close it was.

Texas A&M proved this season that they were more than just hype. They went toe-to-toe with a playoff-caliber Miami squad and nearly came out on top.
That's not the resume of a pretender. That's a team that was a few plays away from crashing the party themselves.

The idea that we are better off because Miami won sounds a lot like a moral victory…

How about Ags wait until next year to see if Elko continues building this program into a consistent power instead of everyone jumping off so quickly. Which is crazy being it's our best year in a very long time and first year to make the playoff.
Look at Miami for perspective. What year is Mario coaching there? He's in year 4 starting there in 2022. Elko is just in year 2.

A guy writes an objective article giving his complimentary opinion about A&M in relation to Miami and all you knuckleheads can do is whine, *****, disagree and moan. Good grief, most of you just want to be unhappy; explains so much about this board; bunch of dumbass towel boys.

Ags should've won that game but didn't get it done. No way around it. No excuses. Just the way it is.
