My recommendation do not look at what these young men are allegedly getting paid. The knowledge will just make you crazy

I don't know much about this Formby guy, but I've seen online that Bama fans have complained about him a lot.

Did more digging he got beat out at tackle by a true freshman moved inside to guard didn't like it wants to play tackle and wanted tackle money. Loves taco casa so they might can help us out on this.

Yes we offered him 7 figures last year not sure if he gets more after a year of experience or if he looses some based on loosing his position.

I think what we're seeing here is a desire to have the ability to rotate in players for different offensive schemes with little to no drop off in talent/play. Even if the younger guys get a little buried, it gives them time to develop. How long they'll wait or if they're willing to wait is always a risk, but it's always going to be that way if you have top talent.

Whoever is narrating that video is beyond clueless. One missed block is the backs fault. One time he says he got beaten by a spin move but the end never spins. One is a questionable holding call and thats about all I could handle.

Yeah, I definitely see it as hedging their bets on the inexperience of the guys we already had by bringing in guys with some experience. The only guys we had coming back with any real game experience were Nabou and Bourdon and Bourdon's was limited. Having an offensive line with combined starts under 20 is a recipe for disaster.
