We did not have to play Indiana. Absolutely insane how complete they are. I love me some Aggie football but also a realist. That is all.

LOTS of folks on this board were regularly complaining every time Heather Dinich wrote or said that IU was a better team than the Aggies.

At that point in the season they hadn't proven that they were.
Now they clearly have.
I would have loved to had the chance to be beaten by them in the natty game.Hank the Grifter said:

More accurately, most people stated they haven't proven anything because their schedule was trash. Big difference. Get your facts straight.CowDog said:

Agreed 100%WestTexAg12 said:I don't think we could have beaten them. I still think we are better than Ole Miss, Oregon, and Tech though and should have been in one of those seeds.Hank the Grifter said:

Miami is going to beat them. By more than they beat us.

Do people just forget how Indiana looked against some fairly pedestrian teams? How they're performing in tonight's game has no bearing on how they would have looked against the Ags.

If you think Indiana is the best team ever, then logically if Miami wins they are the best team ever? If beating the best team ever doesn't mean you are it, then they weren't the best team ever. Beating Oregon twice, Ohio State and Alabama and Miami, is that enough? I say top 5 all time but not best ever, although clearly better than Vys team.

It wasn't her opinion that rubbed people the wrong way, it was her flawed analysis that did. She said things like "I'd rank Bama ahead of A&M because the Tide has two ranked road wins", which ignored the fact that A&M had three. "Bama's strength of record is #4 overall", which ignored the fact that A&M's was #1 at the time.
It was her BS reasoning, not her opinions. Congrats to her for being correct about Indiana. I'm sure she's excited as an Indiana grad.
