Key 2026 Spring Practice Objectives for Mike Elko's new 2026 team:

Mike Elko - CEO Level Decisions: The Vision: The Who, What and Where

1. Roster management, Integrating transfer portal additions and Assessing team depth.
2. Building out a competitive lineup & integrating new talent or promoting young talent to fill gaps.
3. Identifying weaknesses or production issues from 2025 and addressing them for the 2026 team
4. Where did we fail, Where do we need to implement change, players, schemes to WIN.

Mike Elko - Strategic Planning & Execution: These players will work best with these schemes:

1. Finalizing the QB Room for the backup and 3rd string QB.
2. Finalizing the Offensive Line - Who are the Top 5 and backups at each line position.
3. Defense - Building Line-of-Scrimmage Depth: Ensuring we are capable of surviving a long season.
4. Implementing New Schemes: New Offensive Systems to fit the 2026 players. Also LB & Safety roster rotations.
5. Using the 15 allotted sessions to install new offensive/defensive systems to compete in the SEC & CFP.

Some of you just can't help yourself

A) if you do these things, it will prevent that.

B) We played two teams playing top 2 and top 8-10 ish ball. It wasn't a collapse.

Nothing like 2024 where Auburn wasn't close to either Texas or Miami this year.

Now, we need to peak at the right time and play our best ball at the end. That's valid. But some of you just have an uncanny way of overstating things. It wasn't a "collapse". We fell all the way from 3 to 8. Wow, what a collapse!

ut-Austin was not on A&M's level. They then backdoored that loss with another at home against an equal opponent. That feels like a cleaner version of 2024. Therefore im not buying the kool-aid

The only objective Elko should have is to add 20lbs on the QB

The main objective is to get the most out of Reed which isn't easy but that's why Elko makes huge money and hopefully it's why he chose Wiggins. We go as far as Reed can take us.
