Last year prior to the new lights being added, a KBTX article noted that new video boards and speakers were planned to be added ahead of the 2026 season. Is this still happening?

It sounds like the announcement introducing new technology at the beginning of last season. Have not paid attention to Bright Complex, locker room upgrades, or technology upgrades but if it mentions the board of regents approving then usually if it shows up in their agenda we hear something later…but not always…

That costume looks egregiously oppressive. This would be the likely outcome during any August home game.

Pretty average looking. Used to call those looks "10's"....... defined as a "4" carrying a six pack.

Stadium has come so far in terms of modern amenities except our concessions, they are god awful.

Still waiting for them to turn off the lights and have the crowd members hold up their cell phones. The Kyle Field experience is pitiful until they've mixed in cell phone participation.

We'd only need to switch back to plastic bottles every other year for the tu game. If nothing else we are accommodating.

They need to add some type of wayfinding lighting on the steps in the upper level of the north end zone. It's like North Korea at night up there during a night game.

All joking aside, this should be the year that they start allowing the Cheer Squad and/or Dance Team on the sidelines for some or all of the game.

They don't have to steal the show over the Yell Leaders, and can be more of a backup support.

We have too many attractive young ladies and talented cheerleaders that should have an opportunity to show their support… and get a few camera shots during the games.

It would be too easy to implement because we already have the Cheer Squad and the Dance Team on campus. Just pick some folks from one or both to participate in the gameday experience. (And not that it matters, but it corrects the knuckleheads from other schools that claim we don't have cheerleaders or only have male cheerleaders…)
