117 scholarship players currently (5-26-2027)
From what I read, still have to get down to 85 schollies ... with a total of 105.
Will they truly shed (32) between now and August?
Then we lose (35) seniors between shedding and attrition, plus probably 2 maybe 3 underclassmen in draft.

In today's NIL day/age ... could some of these guys just "pay" for it on their own?

Does the expansion to 105 scholarships mean that we have to eliminate 20 more men's sports scholarships in order to comply with Title IX?

We are able to go to 105 but I doubt we get close to that.

We probably lose 21 seniors and at least 4 or 5 juniors to either eligibility exhaustion or NFL. We could easily lose another 2-3 juniors to the portal for their last year and to try for a last chance to move their stock up for the draft. Then, you also have to realize there will probably be another few soph listed that will go portal or even possibly to NFL. Lastly, highly doubtful we carry over all 43 listed in fish category. So, we will say probably safe to see at least 26 if not closer to 30 go away.

We went 25 HS signees and 14 portal and in 26, we went 26 HS signees and 19 portal. I am going to guess we will be around those numbers, I would guess at most numbers would be something like 26-27 HS signees and max 15-18 portal
