Got an old pickup you don't know what to do with? Post it here.

I live out of the country and looking for a vehicle to have on standby when I'm stateside. Looking for truck from the 90s for the sake of simplicity and less bells and whistles and family could use the utility of the truck while I'm out of country.

I have a '97 4WD F250 with about 160k original miles. I've replaced everything on it except the trans and engine. Runs great. But it's a hell of a lot more than $5k. I'd sell it for $20k

I have a 1989 F350 crew cab with utility box on the back. I bought it with the idea of putting a flatbed on it. It has the 7.3 non-turbo and was a fire department rig. Someone bought and painted it white over the red. I have had it for almost a year I suppose and probably put 1,000 miles on it. I'd let it go for 4K.

I moved it to a house that I'm rebuilding and let it idle for about 10 min when it stopped running. Turns out the tanks sound completely empty and the fuel gauge is totally not accurate.

If interested, I'll see about checking it out and getting it running again. It's just a super low priority for me.

I posted on another thread but I have an 89 F150, 4wd, inline 6 with 118k miles on it.

No bells and whistles, no AC, but the truck works as it should.

I'd let it go for $4k as well. So leave it state side and jump start it when the battery eventually drains.

Has original paint with surface rust. I left because I like the way it looks.

That is exactly what we did. Purchased for my son when he started working. He has since purchased a newer vehicle and this one is sitting. It needs driven since it has lots of miles left in it with regular maintenance. Thought I would keep it but I've got too many old trucks to play with and this is probably the neatest one. I'm going to miss it as we named it Bluey from it's paint job. It reminds me of a blue heeler, which we raise.

I don't need this truck but damn do I want it. First truck was an '86 F150 single cab long bed. AC froze your nips off. Brakes went out approaching a toll booth on Beltway 8. Stepdad junked it instead of letting me fix the brakes.

That Inline Six is a tuff motor! My 1996 F-150 had most of the vacuum lines knawed through by field mice and it started right up. I hit a deer going 55 mph and it barely dented the front bumper. Solid truck and engine especially with a manual transmission! AC still blows cold and the cruise control still works. Great PU truck. They don't make them like that anymore!

Truck is still available. It is a single cab truck and I'll reiterate it is a fun little truck to drive.

Just don't need it anymore as I have a different old truck that can do a little more of what I need. Going to miss it when it goes but if feather someone else enjoy it instead of it sitting.
