Wife and I are looking into getting a mini schnauzer for our girls for Christmas. Any leads would be appreciated.

I'm located in Port Neches but willing to travel for the right breeder.

We bought our giant from Happy Beard Schnauzers in Utah. She originally bred minis and then giants. Can't say enough good things about them as a breeder. In the end, I ended up flying to pick ours up, as it corresponded with a business trip. She is extremely particular about breed genetics and that bore itself out in our research about the kennel and the other breeders knowledge of her.

We got ours 5 years ago from Tickled Pink Schnauzers in the Temple area. They are not some high-end breeder, but these are the best dogs ever! Both of them are in the 15 lb. range.

Great dogs. If you have never had one make sure to look up their diets and watch everything for fat content. We have two. We looked at a breeder last week to possibly get a 3rd and they wanted $3500. Hoping that is not the case everywhere right now.
