Looking for a BA for me and my son. Have narrowed down to these two calibers, and while not exactly the same, both of which will fit our basic needs or range time and some hunting.

Wanted to check here if any Ags were selling one before headed to the stores. I was looking at a Ruger American 2 as a starter gun if that gives any sellers a ballpark price range.

PM me or text at 832-seven two eight-8150

What's your budget? And where you located?

Located in Katy.

Budget is still TBD but the Ruger I referenced above is $500-$600 depending on the model.

Ruger American 2 is a good one.
Also look at Savage 110 Trail Hunter and Tikka T3X lite.
All three are good shooters and reliable.

I have a Ruger American Predator 6.5 Creedmoor with a Leupold VX3HD 4.5-14x50 that is threaded and will come with 7-8 boxes of Nosler ballistic tip ammo. Haven't listed it for sale anywhere, but it is rigged up and ready to go. Wanting $1,200. I work in Katy as well.

I have a ruger in .243 I'd let go. But I'm not anywhere near Katy. You ever come to Fort Worth or Brownwood?

Never make it up that way but thank you.

I'm going to research that combo. It feels likes it's out of my price range but I'll let you know. Thanks.

No problem, just let me know. It has a Thunderbeast QD on it if you have suppressors or are wanting to get into them. This one will only work with Thunderbeast brand suppressors. My kids love shooting the gun because the QD has a built in muzzle brake, so recoil and noise are much less for them. If you don't need it, I'd knock $50 off the price. See attached photo, it's actually 5 boxes of Nosler and 2.5 boxes of Winchester. https://imgur.com/a/x2Lruoh

I have a remmington 783 in .243 that I'd consider letting go of, it's been fired less than 10 times, it has a cabelas brand scope on it that my dad put on it, have some ammo with it too, just no where near Katy, if you ever come to the Waco/West area or we are in College Station somewhat regularly. Looking online at gunbroker I see most listed around $450, I'd probably let it go for $400 or would consider a trade for a pistol of comparable value.
