I would guess by bus. Not such a far distance.

There have been several unusual road matches for SEC teams this season. For example, Tennessee is on the road this weekend against both East Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.

A few non-conference opponents have big matches today. I'll post an update tonight showing how our non-con opponents have fared.

San Diego is @ #4 USC
Oklahoma plays Cal
Santa Clara faces Notre Dame (after knocking off #2 UNC Friday)

Santa Clara won 3-2.

Tried tuning into the USC feed, but it was unwatchable for me.

SEC is taking a beating in nonconference. Santa Clara win looks even more impressive after their last 2 games.

SEC has second best win percentage, so not too bad of a beating.

UCF leading Florida 3-0 at the half. The Gators are really struggling so far this year.

Miss St sitting near the top of the league and Florida near the bottom. I just don't know what to believe anymore.

WHOA. The game was cancelled due to lightning and they're going to start the game over completely tomorrow.

That is insane! That's crazier than a fumble through the endzone being a touchback.

Florida catches a big break there. I'd be pretty upset if I were UCF. Dominating first half gets completely erased.

What are the quality wins though? Seems like florida is the only team who has played multiple games against good competition and they are losing.

Is this a new rule? I remember our Big 12 semifinal against OU in 2000 was suspended and resumed where it left off the following day. Like our recent delay, that 2000 match resumed with only a few minutes left in the first half. Maybe this only applies to regular season matches?

With a win against LSU on Friday, the Aggies can match their best start ever (9-0). A&M started 9-0 in both 1996 and 1997.

UNC almost got the tie vs. Stanford. That would have helped our cause to get to #1 for the first time ever.

Florida is flirting with 2-5-1 to start the season, ironically with a tie vs Florida St. Pretty tough schedule but they should be better than this considering they are preseason SEC favorites.

That should be fairly easy to do. LSU is one of the weakest teams in the SEC.

The game against Kansas on Sunday, Sept 16, may be our toughest game so far. They will definitely be a much stronger opponent than LSU. Everyone who can, should go to the Kansas game.

LSU, Friday 7:30 pm
#16 Kansas, Sunday, 1 pm

It's official, Florida is a disaster.

Kansas is a good team but they are nowhere near the level of Santa Clara. I've watched some of their games this year to scout them. Santa Clara is a Top 10 team that beat North Carolina straight up. Having said that, it will be a game we need to be focused and ready to play.

"Florida's star center-back Rachelle Smith is out for the season with a torn ACL."
