The prospective student athletes seemed to be in 2 groups Friday. I think there were 5 in the 2019 class, and counted 6 in what is apparently the 2020 class, which is how many that are the picture taken in the studio.

Definitely seems to be a trend now and a recruiting strategy change by Coach G. Lopez (Mexico), Asdis (Iceland), and now Williams (Canada) all on their respective national teams. I think this change is to offset the losses of some elite talent in the state who decide to go to UNC, Stanford, Virginia, etc. Not a bad strategy at all, especially considering it's been a big success so far with Lopez and Asdis.

I'd argue that the two international players are as hard working as anyone I've seen on the field. It's worked well thus far.
