Which reminds me...remember when Portland was a powerhouse? What happened to them? They used to draw some big names. Rapinoe and Sinclair come to mind.

Their legendary coach died, his top assistant took over and they continued to be very good for several years, but slowly declined over the past 5-6 years up until he was fired last year.

I agree it was the right call, a lot of refs don't have the stones to make the call though. I think giving Missouri a PK earlier makes it an easier call for her.

Auburn keeper and coach both get yellow cards. Probably not a big deal in the long run... but in the rare chance the keeper gets another it would be huge.

I understand the frustration many A&M fans have with our not going further more often in the NCAA tournament. One appearance in our 23 years is certainly less than we would have hoped. But being tied for the third longest NCAA appearance streak is something to hang your hat on.

Yes, indeed, support for THE PROGRAM is indeed very strong! That makes me very proud of my fellow Aggies--we support the program and build up the members of the program. That's our primary role as....hmm, what is it the Europeans call fans of a club...oh yeah--SUPPORTERS!

If I remember correctly, they used to always edge us out on attendance too...great support for them.

The passing of the great Clive Charles had a lot to do with their down turn.

I lived in Portland in their heyday. Was a lot of fun to go to their matches, great crowds.

LSU had a 1v1 a few minutes ago that they didn't even get a shot on, wish they had taken advantage of that.
