I thought this was a pretty cool video with plenty of interviews and the topic was the Mexican national team and why they aren't a world power.

I know most of us hate Mexico but the video was pretty interesting.

Couple interesting points:

-I still hate Mexico but it was cool to see what their fans and a former player thinks of the team.
-The Liga MX pays players so well that they may incur a pay cut going to Europe.
-Liga MX makes plenty of money so the teams don't want to sell young players cheap because they really don't have to.
-Mexican players have a reputation of not wanting to leave their comfort zone of Mexico by challenging themselves in Europe.
-Pavel Pardo, the former player they interviewed, believes their young guys need to go experience a different "Winning" culture so that they can help their national team. Dude was a helluva player and did successfully cross the pond.
-Their fans couldn't care less about the Gold Cup hahaha

Hopefully more and more of our young guys get to Europe as quickly as they can. It was eye opening to see how many European based Americans there were on our U20 WC team.

Mexico is a lot like Aggie Football. They SHOULD be a power but instead just tease their fans from time to time.

I agree. I wasn't expecting a ton of comments since it's the Mexican national team but the short video was actually pretty informational.
