No way Rapinoe gets benched. She deserves to be and has been horrible since game one but she is the captain. I'm still trying to figure out Ellis plan today without subbing for soo long. We were being physically out played which usually doesn't happen and I think we looked like a team that has never been punched in the mouth so a lot of the girls didn't know how to react. I think press should start with Morgan in the middle Lloyd is a 60 min sub if we need a spark. Also knowing nothing about her but the McDonald girl looked very good in her one appearance. Knowing who the opponent was but still was definitely a spark

Labella is best player on the pitch. That little girl is amazing.

Carlie should come in around 50
Rapino should stay in the entire game. However she need to play the wing and only the wing. She tries to do to much to get a shot. She needs to cross the ball and look to cross it rather than looking to shoot

1. Labella? Seriously?

2. "Rapino" hasn't shown an ability yet to stay wide and look to cross only. She continues to try and take on players one v one, and continues to lose. That is why she shouldn't be out there the entire game, or at all.

3. I would love to see a top three of Press-Morgan-Heath with a midfield of Rose-Mewis-Horan, but I don't think Ellis has the guts to tick off some of the older veterans.

I wouldn't break up a CB pairing that has allowed only 1 goal all tournament

Mewis is the most important player on the team imo.

Admittedly, I've only watched a couple games, but I can't help but wonder if it would've been better to convert Rapinoe to LB (rather than Dunn). Obviously that ship has sailed and it wouldn't be wise to change now. I've been impressed by Rap's work rate and ability to track back from her forward position. Might've been win-win to move her back there and keep her on the field as captain, and then have Press take her spot up front.

France's right winger is a speedy terror. Need Dunn's speed to match her. The old lady would get abused.
