Too bad we don't have a Rudybryan (women's basketball) for soccer and other women's sports!

Agree with Artimus. Probably our most successful program and we get zilch news.
The team posts updates on their twitter feed regularly as does Coach G.
Thanks for starting this thread. In past years there has been video or pictures from the team dinner at G's house the night before the first practice, and then video from the first practice. I think teams are allowed to start practice 20 or 21 days before the first game, so the first practice should have been last Thursday or Friday. The roster on 12th man.com is still the spring roster. Aggie Soccer Twitter had a photo on July 16 of Taylor Ziemer to mark her birthday.
I'm a little surprised there has been so little information, especially for a team that barely missed being a 2 seed for the second straight year. I did see Ally Watt is on the Herman Trophy watch list, but I think Addie McCain should get some consideration for that also. A big question is who will be in goal, as none of our 4 goalkeepers has played a single second in a regular season game. And I 'm rooting big time for Jenna Byers.

Should be a fun season. My expectations are higher than some on this board. We have a stacked roster this year.
Jimena Lopez has been playing (left back) with the Mexican national team this spring and summer. She joined the team for the Cyprus Women's Cup, where she played almost all minutes in four games against Italy, Thailand, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. She played the entire match in a friendly against The Netherlands on April 5, all but a couple minutes against Canada on May 18, and she played the entire match on the May 26 game versus USA. She has played almost all minutes in three Pan-American Games July 28, 31, and August 3. After finishing 1-1-1 in group play, Mexico is in a game against Panama for 5th place tomorrow, August 6.
There can be no doubt that she is presently a mainstay of their defense.

I wonder if G waited until after the last day of summer classes to start practice. I think Jimena played her last game in Lima yesterday so she should be here by the weekend.

Weird not seeing Florida on that list. I wonder how they'll do this year. They have another brutal schedule this year, but surely they'll do better than last year, right?

SEC coaches pick us to win the league. United Soccer Coaches have us 2nd. Chris Henderson of All White Kit has us 4th, behind USC, UT and Arky. Henderson has LSU at the league bottom, while United Soccer Coaches has them 24.

We don't play South Carolina or Tennessee this year, and we get Arkansas at home. Vanderbilt might be our toughest SEC game, we lost to them two years ago in Nashville.
