Saw Union Berlin for the first time today and I was blown away by their fan base. I've heard about them but never bothered to watch a B2 game. Now they're B1 and I really hope they can stick around. They got throttled by Leipzig 4-0, but they were singing, chanting, and clapping the whole game like nothing I've seen before.

And to answer your question, if anyone is supplanting Bayern this year, it'll be Leipzig.

But neither are likely.

Bundesliga is probably the most competitive league for getting into champions league, but one of the worst in Europe about parity for the #1 spot.

I'd say Leipzig or BVB.

You honestly can't beat the atmosphere at Bundesliga matches. They're the best in Europe in my opinion.

Might be time to add Schalke to the list of contenders this year. What a difference a coaching change makes for them. They're dominating my team in Leipzig today and will climb to 2nd in the league on goal difference if the score holds.
