Colin Clark has died of a heart attack at aged 35. Played college at SMU and professionally for the Rapids, Dynamo, and Galaxy. Did receive one US call up, but he was unfortunately injured twice with torn ACLs.
Coached my son for a few years and was a great mentor for him and his teammates. Was with them team to DA showcases and playoffs and while he was well-liked he did tend to keep a low profile. He also did a lot of other good things for the sport in Colorado and it wasn't that long ago he played on an amateur team that advanced a couple of rounds in the US Open.
