Have not seen a game thread so I will start one.
One change we know is that the goalkeeper will be making her first career start. I hope we come out with a lot of energy and keep the ball in their defensive half.

Jordan Burbank gets her first career start in goal. Karlina Sample had her knee surgery today.

I don't see us winning this one

I remember our last trip both Mikaela Harvey and Callyn Walton were taken down in the box with no foul called. I think Mikaela communicated with the ref about that and got carded.

If we could connect some passes in the offensive end we would be dangerous. Right before their goal Taylor missed a pass after we had stolen the ball. Only 3 subs in the first half. Vandy does a good job getting the ball to Hopkins as she is running from right to left. Ally needs to put that cross from Jimena in the goal.

Tie game 1-1

Game tied 1-1 with 17:49 to play. Watt just scored on a penalty kick for us.

Pretty even on shots. Aggies have outshot Vandy 11-9.

Also, both teams changed goalies at halftime. Caldwell replaced Burbank in goal in 2nd half for us.

Still tied 1-1 with 12:12 to play.

Maybe the coaches should put Allie Russell in a little bit sooner? This was a HUGE WIN! Great job by Kenna in her first real action. I think she played in the UK game previously.

We came from behind to win for the first time this season on the road against a team that was tied in points with us going into the game, although we aren't in the same division.

I hope that will set up the rest of the season for us.

I also thought our goalie who came in the second half was more aggressive off her line and getting to balls.

I agree with the above poster about the fouls. I can't dispute any of our fouls, but I thought the ref could have fairly doubled the fouls against Vandy.

We were 4-1 on the road in conference play. Need to finish strong at home.

Important 2-1 Aggie win in 2 overtimes!

I don't expect Hutton back in goal this season. Caldwell appears to be the best goal-keeper to start and carry-on.

Smith and Russell have the speed and looked good in the attack.

Watt was durable the whole match and showed her magic to win it.

Yeah, really impressed we won this one. Didn't think we could do it on the road with a committee of goalkeepers against a decent team (on senior night, no less). We showed a lot of fight though, Watt's second goal was particularly nice, wish we could see more of those types of goals from her.

Vandy also used 2 keepers tonight. On the radio pre-game interview G said that Kenna had the better leg and that Jordan would start and then they would see.
Team may be delayed getting home tonight with the weather moving in.
