Lovely gesture for the fans, but I couldn't help but laugh at fact that each star contains a whopping 0.06 grams of the trophy... roughly just 2% of the whole (already small) star.

Since it's a big platter, I think a better plan would be to cut it into 12 equal parts (symbolic for the 12th man). Get the supporters' "best 11" for the season to sign 11 of them and get the coach to sign the 12th. Give each STH a raffle ticket. Sell additional tickets and give the proceeds to charity.
