Just a quick one today to get the game thread going:
Texas Aggie soccer continues their roadtrip a little closer to home. On Sunday at 7PM, the Aggies face the #8 TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth. TCU was picked by the coaches to finish 2nd in the Big 12. (Chris Henderson's all-knowing algorithm also picked them 2nd.)
The Aggies are 13-0 against TCU all-time with the most recent meeting coming in the 2021 portion of last season's schedule. The Ags won last season's match 1-0 over the then #3 ranked and undefeated TCU squad.
TCU opened this season with a 7-0 win at Stephen F Austin and they had a ludicrous 26 players see action.
The Horned Frogs will be well rested and primed for revenge against A&M. TCU should probably be favored in this one with their homefield advantage. However, this will be a more honest barometer for the Aggies.
This one WILL require an ESPN+ subscription to stream. So if you're counting on your cable package to get this game, you're out of luck.
