Texas Aggie Soccer closes out the regular season tomorrow night on the road. The Aggies face the Missouri Tigers with a scheduled 6PM kickoff.

Missouri is 6-10 on the season with a dismal 2-7 mark in conference. As bad as that mark is, the Tigers did manage to knock off Ole Miss 2-1 last week.

Missouri has been abused this season, allowing opponents to outscore them 42-21 (and 23-9 in conference).

Naturally the Aggies have a lot of history with Missouri. The Ags are 18-5-3 against Missouri all-time and 5-0-2 against them since joining the SEC. Over the last 3 games, A&M has dominated Missouri, outscoring them 17-5.

Ordinarily, I'd expect this to be another multi-goal win for the Ags. But who knows...

The certainty here is that a win will guarantee the Aggies a spot in the SEC Tournament. It's yet another must-win game.

I was on a plane today with a whole family decked out in Mizzou gear. As we were leaving the plane I was going to try to give them my teeth-gritting Ol' Sarge mean face, but with my cap tilted down and wearing a mask they probably would have thought I was trying to hold in a fart.

Anyway, BT-COMPOUND-CROPDUST-HOmizzou!!!

Rainy, <50 degrees, 15-20 mph wind out of the north. Should be a big crowd...

Work on connections in the final third and finish. We need to score when we have the wind since we will not be able to clear it out of the back against the wind and we are not good at moving the ball up the field on the ground.

This seems like a game where you should put all kinds of ball on goal. Even if you are far out. In these conditions no telling what can happen if you get it on goal. Poorly played balls that slip in or bobbled balls you can put in on follow up.

I realize players get frustrated, but this raise-the-arms stuff and mouth at your own teammates from certain players just gets tired and old.
