With the closure of this qualifying window and one left before final spots are all nailed down, I thought it might be an interesting conversation to hear who your 23 man roster might be heading to the WC.

Assuming all currently injured/out players are fit and ready by mid-November, who is in your final 23? Here's who I've got:

Keepers: Turner, Steffen & Horvath

Defenders: Zimmerman, A. Robinson, Dest, Cannon, Long, M Robinson, Yedlin

Mids: McKinnie, Reyna, Adams, Acosta, Luca de la Torre, Musah

Forwards: Pulisic, Weah, Pepi, Dike, Sargent, Pefok

Fire away. Flame away. Curious who everyone's got. OBVIOUSLY this is very premature, just interested in starting a conversation with the final window a month and a half away.

Aren't you required to take 3 keepers?
i'd love to see Scally in to provide cover for both fullback positions.
Think Aaronson will be in as well as Sargent.
Think you have too many strikers and not enough wingers for Berhalter's 4-3-3 system.


My roster:
GK: Turner, Steffen, (Horvath or Johnson)
FB: Dest, Robinson, Cannon, Scally
CB: Zimmerman, Robinson, Richards, (Brooks, McKenzie or Long)
MF: Adams, McKennie, Acosta, Musah, De La Torre, (Someone here?) (Busio, Tassman?)
FW: Pepi, Sargent, Pulisic, Weah, Reyna, Aaronson

Cannon can play RCB in a back 3 in a pinch as he's doing that for Boavista right now.
Scally provides cover for both fb positions
Reyna can provide cover in MF as well

Not sure on number of keepers. If 3 are required then obviously add one there and cut an attacking? player. Maybe switch Hoppe for Aaronson....

Haven't seen Dike or Prefok in a long time. They still alive?

I think only 1 for Dike, Hoppe & Pefok will make it.

Aaronson and Horvath take those extra spots

You can add Hoppe back if you'd like since you're short a man. I'd probably take one of Dike or Pefok since I don't see the need for 4 CF. Sargent at adds some positional flexibility over them. I'd probably add Hoppe and a MF Aaronson most likely.

Doubt Hoppe makes it. He hasn't been getting any club time after his switch to Mallorca. He has only played 3 games all year.

I think Zardes will make the final roster.

Hoppe also liked a Instagram post of the "Berhalter Out" sign at the UNC-Duke game yesterday. Oops

I think we need a creative attacking player in the middle. Reyna is who I am thinking best fits that, but Hoppe could probably do that playing off Pepi. Pulisic is better off on the wing.

I'm expecting 2-3 players that aren't currently in the 23, to push into the world cup roster and possibly starting lineup
Likely players that's have been hurt or sub 21 year olds pushing in
