Edit:
I still don't understand how Mexico is in front of us though, we've dominated them. When was their last win against us?

Mexico is ahead of us by one spot in the most recent FIFA rankings which was released on 2/10.

I read yesterday that if as expected, both US and mexico qualify, we would both be in Pot 2. That was on ESPN site.
I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

Per ESPN:

Mexico and USA are Pot 2, unless either fail to qualify tonight. If they have to go through the qualification against Oceania winner they would be Pot 3.

Canada is Pot 3, unless they lose or tie tonight, then would be pot 4.

I'm not sure how anyone could say with great certainty what's going to happen with the seeds… FIFA don't update the rankings daily, so everyone is approximating, at best what the results of this window will mean until FIFA makes their update tomorrow.

Just qualify, worry about the pots/pods later.

We could be facing a CR B-Team tonight. Would be good to grab all 3 points.

If I was CR coach I would play the B-team and protect all the guys on YCs for the playoff match. The odds of them winning 6-0 is about as good a chance of snow for the game..... Heck they could be winning 4-0 and if we put one in they would still have to score 3 more to get to 7. They've scored 11 in 13 games.... it just won't happen.
