Very unfortunate coaching staff loss. Well respected for bringing more technical training and 1:1 player development to the team. Big move for him.

I strongly prefer Friday night home games during football season when the football is also home. Sunday is more iffy if later in the day but I try to make it

The fall roster should be the spring roster with the exception of Laney Carroll who I read had retired, 2 incoming transfers, Sam Smith and Grace McClellan, and incoming freshman Grace Ivey. Not sure how much eligibility Grace McClellan has. She redshirt at LSU in 2019 and the fall of 2020, played in the spring of 2021 for Keiser, and in the fall of 2021 and 2022 for Keiser. On the Keiser website, kuseahawks.com, there is a good interview with her about her career and playing with a torn ACL in the NAIA tournament in 2021.

The first exhibition game is 2 weeks from today. There is a fall roster on 12thman.com. Here is what I see as the roster changes from last season.

New Players: Adysen Armenta, Ella Goodwin, Grace Ivey, Bella James, Taylor Jernigan, Margo Matula, Grace McClellan, Reese Rupe, Sammy Smith, Jazmine Wilkinson

Former Players: Laney Carroll, Sawyer Dumond, Bella Lister, Ali Russell, Karlina Sample, Jai Smith, Katie Smith, Natalie Yoo

We do not play any non-conference opponents outside of Texas which is different.

Do not see Caroline Kniffen on the roster on 12thman.com. The roster does have photos of all of the players now.

Dave Ellis has some more Off The Pitch podcasts out where he talks to 6 of the new players. Reese Rupe said she would not be playing this fall after a recent injury.

I had to finesse and reschedule some work travel plans to make sure I'm at Ellis on August 17 by 7PM.

I'll miss a few here or there, but that home opener is non-negotiable.
