That was a pathetic PK, and Miljevic is supposed to be good.

But yeah, it's nice what happens when they're allowed to play soccer and not think of tactics all the time.

Blondie who missed the pk is not impressive

It's something we have lost as our players have "progressed " in levels of teams, but our top 18 doesn't have many players in the central midfield or operating as the focal point of the offense.

There's something to be said for getting those game reps and practice reps every day in that role, even if it's at a lower level. Our teams in the past had that, and so does this roster in this game.

Definitely need Gio getting playing time somewhere in the central midfield.

Bradley, beckerman, clint to some extent, Landon, edu, mastroeni, Jermaine Jones.

All these guys played in essentially the same role at their clubs as we expected of them at thr national team. Even if the exact position wasn't the same, the offense would either flow through them, or the burden of creativity and chance creation was on them.

I guess. It didn't bother me. I found it interesting.

That was a terrible penalty. He literally dove and landed in front of it.

Miljevic has had some pretty bad turnovers in the midfield. He seems a half step slow to make a decision and execute.
