tonight. This needs to continue in Game 6 if Carlisle wants to give the Mavs a chance to win and to keep his job.

THANK GOD

I bet Cuban told Carlisle to play Haywood the whole game. Dampier has really been killin the mavs on both sides of the court. I can't believe it took this long to make this change. Dallas wouldn't have been down 3-1 had Haywood played this much all series. And I just assumed Carlisle was the one keeping Dampier in the lineup. I was callin for his job had he let this series slip away, because he didn't have the lineup right.

What's your point? Even Mavs' fans realize Dampier is worthless.

Sure was funny listening to people trash Blair during the regular season though, even if it was mostly Simplebay.

Yeah I think Blair is great...thought you guys got a steal at the time, and still do (just don't see what that has to do with this thread). Had a feeling he'd turn it around once Simplebay started talking crap about him.

You would lose that bet.

Kinda like 30+ points is expected of Butler? Haywood played decent defense and got 6 important Orebs and was fouled on every one. He was still just 1-3 from the field for 8 points and 8 boards.

The Spurs shot 35% and played their entire lineup. Pop decided this game before it started.

^ Wrong. Well not your facts, but anything subjective you wrote because you think you know basketball is wrong. Pop gave up when he knew it was over. Dallas shot well and played defense.

Oh and I guess Hill scoring all those points the other night were just another night for him. LMAO. Butler did it like that in game 1 just not near as many shots.

Carlisle should of been playing Haywood for most of the game from the beginning. He defends much better, and is a offensive threat as well. Dampier was the reason for the Mavs problems in the past, so why in the world would you let him be the problem again when you have a much better option. If someone reading this needs an example, look at how many times the spurs have scored coming off a pick and roll that included Dampier. It's unbelievable we're even having to have this discussion considering it was fairly obvious in the regular season.

I think we'll see more Haywood in next game or hopefully two.

But I don't think that Dampier is on the bench for good. I fully expect game 6 to be an epic bloodbath with 100 fouls called. Mavs will need to get 4 pts, 5 board, and 6 fouls out of Dampier.
