The Spurs had him figured out on those last couple possessions he tried to drive. Whether that would have continued, who knows...but I think that's what prompted Carlisle to sit him.

Mavs are slowly chipping away at the lead. JET is giving some minutes and not stinking up the joint.

Beaubois can come in and give a spark. I like the idea of him having the freshest legs on the court.

He also made 2 mistakes at the end of the 3rd quarter by letting Duncan swat his weak ass attempts with other Mavs open. It helped fuel the Spurs surge at the end of the 3rd for a 7 point lead.

Swat or not, I'll take my chances with a guy driving the lane, especially when that's been an issue for the team the entire series (check that, decade).

Roddy needs to be in there because he picks up the entire team. Just notice the energy level of the guys on the court and the bench when he is in there vs when he is on the bench. It is night and day.
