1. dallas has played well against the spurs the past few years

The problem with the Mavs IS Jason Kidd. He can't guard anybody, can't shoot with a hand in his face or within 5 feet of him, and letting him on the court keeps Roddy off the court. So it turns out the only guy Kidd can slow down, is on his own team.

Unreal. You said that the Spurs got Rasheed's backup and that they couldn't get Sheed, so they settled for Dice. I wanted Dice because I thought he fit better.

And Blair doesn't play much against Dallas, because he is a poor matchup against Dirk. He is short and a pounder, and they Spurs need someone that can go outside to defend and not let Dirk shoot over them as well. That's Dice. Expect Blair to play a lot more against Amare/Dudley/Lopez. Bonner will probably man up on Frye a lot since they both play the outside game.
